Through the Doors and On the Price Tag of the 2014 Hyundai Equus

Have you heard? The 2014 Hyundai Equus is coming and we're nearly on the edge of our seats with anticipation. It's been labeled as the flagship luxury sedan by the South Korean automaker and it brings an incredible blend of sophisticated styling, graceful performance, and classy comfort with a price attached that still puts it ahead of the competition.

In Ann Arbor, Michigan, officials from Hyundai confirmed that the 2014 Equus would be priced at $61,000 MSRP, not including the $920 destination fee for the base-level Signature model; the Ultimate trim would swing for $68,000 MSRP, plus $920 destination fee. While its price has increased a bit from the previous 2013 model, the updates to both the interior and exterior more than make it worth your time and money.

On the outside, the grille has been restyled and flanked elegantly with LED fog lamps, coming standard, with 19-inch alloy wheels below. Open the door and look in on a new and improved instrument cluster and center stack, wrapped in a premium wood trim.

Speaking of the instrument cluster, it now features an LCD information screen. Options are either a 7-inch or 12.3-inch screen, and you'll find an additional 9.2-inch display shining out from the middle of the dash for your viewing pleasure. Similar 9.2-inch screens are placed in the backs of the front seats with updated console controls, so rear-seat passengers will have a way to keep entertained on those long road trips.

We can't wait to get behind the wheel of one for ourselves but, until then, keep an eye on our site for the appearance of the 2014 Equus. If you have another new or used Hyundai model on the mind that's perfect for you, get yourself over to Tameron Hyundai in Birmingham, AL, your friendly dealer serving the greater Tuscaloosa area. We'll help you out in any way we can.
