2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Debuted at L.A. Auto Show

For quite some time now, anticipation has been mounting for the official reveal of the production-model 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe three-row crossover. With several awards, including an IIHS Top Safety Pick and a nod from SAMA (Southern Automotive Media Association), already in tow, the fresh Santa Fe line finally makes its full-on appearance at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Our new Hyundai team at Tameron Hyundai has scooped up some of the most important details and we're eager to share.

Running off a hearty 3.3-liter V6 engine the stunning 2013 Santa Fe three-seater can produced 290 ponies with a maximum tow capacity of 5,000 pounds. Proving that the best of both worlds can indeed be found in one stellar auto, the Hyundai crossover sheds 320 pounds, uses an efficient next-gen engine and maintains remarkably competitive fuel economy.

Slip inside and drivers and their passengers will be greeted by multiple seating configurations as well as advanced soil-resistant upholstery by Yes Essentials. Brand-new rear side window sunshades and a panoramic sunroof finish off the cabin for a light and airy look. Meanwhile, designers have given the elongated 2013 Santa Fe model a cohesive exterior appearance by using unique bodyside character lines from the B-pillar, a different grille, 18 inch Euroflange alloy wheels and chrome-tipped dual exhaust.
