In a bold move to take on its competitors more directly, Hyundai has priced their new Volester Coupe, and Tameron Hyundai thinks that Honda, Scion, and Volkswagen should, perhaps, be watching their backs. The all new Hyundai Volester is one impressive ride, and not just because of its modest $17,300 MSRP. The vehicle manages to bring quite a few innovations to the table that are sure to attract a whole new segment of car-buyers.

One look at the Hyundai Volester reveals a sport coupe that features Hyundai's signature styling, along with 17-inch alloy wheels with P215/45R17 tires. One new feature that you won't find on any other new Hyundai model, however, is the Veloster's unique third door on the passenger's side. This unique design allows for unparalleled access to the rear seats, and what's more is that the  Veloster's third door does not require the front door to be open in order to operate, unlike many other coupes.

Inside, drivers will find an impressive Seven-inch high resolution LCD video touchscreen, with Pandora capabilities. Other impressive features that come standard on the Veloster include Steering wheel mounted audio and cruise control; Bluetooth hands-free phone system with voice recognition; Power windows, locks, and mirrors (which are also heated); and remote keyless entry. But, personally, we think that the introduction of Hyundai's all new Blue Link telematics system is the Veloster's most exciting feature.

Under the hood, the Veloster is powered by a 1.6-liter GDI DOHC D-CVVT four-cylinder engine. When paired with six-speed manual transmission, this results in an incredible 28 mpg city/40 mpg highway, for a combined rating of 32 miles per gallon.
