Hyundai i10 in India

Overseas, the Hyundai i10 is a small, economy class vehicle, used in the past as the basis for Hyundai's Accent in America. Hyundai Motor India introduced its new i10 hatchback this week in India at a low introductory price.

The new car, which made its debut on Thursday, will replace the existing i10 that was ready for a redesigned next generation model. It will be showcased for a global audience at the upcoming 2010 Paris Motor Show on October 2.

Hyundai's New US HQ

Many foreign auto makers are turning their sights on America to build new headquarters. Hyundai is the latest of these companies.

The Korean automotive company announced Wednesday that it would construct a new headquarters in Fountain Valley, Calif., for its subsidiary, Hyundai Motor America. According to The New York Times; "The new building will be more than double the size of its current headquarters."

Hyundai Shows Off First Hybrid Car

Hyundai Motors unveiled the BlueOn earlier this week. It's the first all electric vehicle to be produced by the Korean auto maker.

The car is an electric version of the Hyundai i10 hatchback, showcased as an electric concept at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The BlueOn is named after Hyundai's Blue Drive eco-friendly lineup that one will be able to "switch on" according to Hyundai.

Hyundai 24/7 To Change the Look of Showrooms, Cars

Ending in the fall of 2011 Hyundai will have spent the past 24 months introducing 7 new or redesigned models - which is being dubbed by Hyundai marketing as "24/7."  Even after this rapid fire release, the pace isn't bound to slow much.  There are also new entries slated for 2012 and 2013, including Hyundai's first fuel cell electric vehicle among other rumored additional models.
